Not Always Lost in Books

Despite what my overflowing bookshelves might suggest, I do occasionally emerge from my literary cocoon! My girlfriends insist on dragging me out for coffee dates and bookstore adventures (not that I complain about the latter).

"She'll analyze the plot structure of your life story over jasmine tea, then recommend three books that'll change your perspective entirely."

Though I must confess, even during our selfie sessions, I'm usually thinking about that cliffhanger I just read or mentally composing haikus about the play of afternoon light through café windows.

Finding Magic in Reality

There's something about fireworks that reminds me of the best fantasy novels - that moment when ordinary darkness transforms into cascading light and wonder. I could watch them for hours, each burst a new chapter in the sky's story.

At 26, I've learned that the real world can be just as magical as any fantasy realm. You just need to know where to look... and maybe have read enough books to recognize the poetry hidden in everyday moments.

My Cozy Corner of the World

This is where you'll usually find me - surrounded by dark wooden furniture that's probably older than I am, with coffee stains mapping out late-night reading sessions and a candle flickering like a tiny dragon's breath.

My vintage watch (a gift from my grandmother) ticks away the hours as I lose myself in other worlds. The hanging plants are my reading companions - they're excellent listeners and never spoil the ending.

In my soft white blouse with ruffles (comfort is key for marathon reading sessions), I probably look like I've stepped out of a different era. And honestly? That's exactly where my mind usually is - somewhere between Victorian London, Middle-earth, and a dozen other literary landscapes.
